Our house was invaded by bats yesterday and it was great! The kids have been going back and forth for the past year about what they wanted to be for Halloween this year. I told them on the first day of October that they needed to pick something and stick with it. October 1st came and Ashlynn said she wanted to be a bat and then Camden said he wanted to be a bat too. We decided Kedric might as well be a bat too.
I found the fabric at Walmart for $1.50 a yard. I bought 3 yards of it. The felt was $.23 and the hats were $2. So for $6.73 we had all of our costumes made!
Derek's aunt and uncle suggested that Derek and I should have been Batman and Cat Women....maybe next year ;)
